Professor Yusuf Noah had his B.Sc. Degree in Sociology, M.Sc. Sociology (Industrial), and Ph.D. (Sociology), all from the University of Ibadan. He started his teaching career as Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Sociology, University of Ilorin. He became Professor of Industrial Sociology in the same Department. He has taught in other Colleges within Nigeria, including Crawford University Igbesa, and Babangida University, Lapai. His research interests include Industrial Sociology, Industrial Relations, Women and Work, and Worker Participation Studies. He is the General Secretary of the Intellectual Development Initiative. On November 6, 2017, he got appointed as the Director, for the Centre For Peace and Strategic Studies at the University of Ilorin.
