We want to encourage sociology students with game-changing ideas for their communities. Students/student teams will apply with their most innovative proposals. Top two finalists will get access to funds with mentorship from lecturers.
About the Challenge
Although they are not experts yet, students of the department of sociology are thinking big and they need to be heard.
Whether it is in entrepreneurship, humanity, a global challenge or an immediate societal problem, the challenge will be darted at sociologists to pitch how they wish to or have been address(ing) a problem by applying the tenets of sociology and why they deserve the prize.
The winning idea which will be selected by the panel of judges gets N10,000.

HOW IT WORKS IN 4 STEPS
Students can apply as individuals or in teams. Be precise and realistic.
At the close of submission, the panel of judges will review the applications and select 5 tentative finalists each. The most recurring 5 across all judges’ selection will be the finalists.
Final Event and Winners Announced
All applicants are invited to pitch their ideas to our panel of judges at a final event. The judges will select one winner from these finalists.
